A developer who previously worked on Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series has shared some disturbing news regarding a highly rumored port. Twilight Princess For Nintendo Switch. For the better part of last year, we’ve kept hearing that Nintendo plans to offer an HD version of both Wind Wicker And Twilight Princess From Wii U to Switch. And while none of these rumors have been proven true yet, it doesn’t look like such an announcement might happen soon.
Speaking on the Fragments of Silicon podcast recently, Tantalus CEO Tom Crago was asked if Nintendo had asked the studio to move it. The Legend of Zelda: Princess of Twilight To convert. In the past, Tantalus was a third-party company that Nintendo relied on in the past not only to bring in Twilight Princess to Wii U, but the studio also worked on a Switch version last year of legend of zelda sword skyward. In short, Kragu said that Nintendo did not ask Tantalus to arrive Twilight Princess To switch, though, the studio itself will largely be back on the opportunity.
“No, look, we obviously love doing that, but that wasn’t a priority for Nintendo — or at least not in the conversations they had with us,” Krago explained. “The way you work with our friends out there is that we will jump at any opportunity we can to work on one of their titles. There is a constant dialogue between our two companies. There is often a little time that passes between titles, and there may be other ideas coming up. But just in case Sword toward the skysome time passed and then the email came: “Are you interested in thinking about bringing me?” Sword toward the sky on the switch? The answer, of course: “Yes, we will.” Then we get into conversations with Nintendo about what it might look like and eventually we get started. So it was similar in many ways in terms of how Twilight Princess (on Wii U) it pays off.”
Obviously, what Crago is saying here is somewhat related to those who were hoping to see him The Legend of Zelda: Princess of Twilight Landing on the Switch. However, it is important to note that while Crago claims that Tantalus itself does not operate in such a port, perhaps Nintendo could have leveraged another studio to do so. And while that seems unlikely given that Tantalus worked on a Wii U version of the game, Nintendo could always have chosen to go in a different direction with the possibility of Twilight Princess switch port.
